Sup Thusia! Let's talk about Thusia.

The game's been a bit slow lately and while I know a heavy part of that's due to the September back-to-classes crunch and other RL gremlins punching people in the face, it seems like we could use a talk about what we can do to restart/boost interest for everyone, as well as talk about any other gamestuff we might like to bring up/have bee thinking of bringing up for a while, no matter how big or small.

gosh 8( no yes I would have loved for as many people as possible to see Allen failing as hard as possible and get punched with excessive fleshfeathers. If you like you can even have seen the tail end of that just so you can be like WHAT EVEN THE FUCK ALLEN WALKER? later, i am so easy, easy like peasy.

And time is moving WAY SLOW so it's not like much has even.. happened since then... I- I felt bad for going on hiatus for a week after that and then came back and time had barely moved. Good for this specific conundrum and yet not??

Yah I don't feel like the environment is hostile, more liek... maybe set up to foster self-defeating? A lot of the regular posts are technically group oriented (mingles, explorations) but those should-be group prompts have accidentally set up a pattern of individual threading, so even things that *could* be group events end up bubbled, and since it's such a laid back community, this has accidentally gone on for months and the time has sort of just been unhelpful reinforcement. At least I think that could be it? But it sounds like everyone totally wants the opposite of that which is exciting. Let's gently crawling out of bubbles. OR PUNCH THROUGH WITH DRILLS?

Since yes I am also with Natsume in the always wanting to touch Allen Walkers corner cuz I think they could be beautiful but THUSIA'S JUMPING CULTURE IS SO... the way it is...

Which perfectly illustrates the point. Honestly most of the new CR I've gotten in the past 6 months has been through plotting things out OOCly in the CR meme or by being in IC life-or-death situations. And that's.... it. Really. SO I VOTE DRILLS.

But like. Hmm, this right here is the kind of thing that helps me personally? Like validation almost, which is where the CR meme has also helped. So I think the idea of like [OPEN POST] or etc etc is a good idea just because that "well it's implied that anyone can jump" doesn't seem to work out as expected. Siiiince I think Thusia default tends to fall to "I'm just here to play with CR" which is not necessarily true the majority of the time, as other comments here show! But it's the culture that's evolved and then you feel like you need permission, not just ICly but OOCly, to comfortably jump someone.

BASICALLY IDK HOW TO CHANGE A CULTURE other than to just. Jump people and hope other people jump people and maybe the tide will begin turning :|a
