Hello everyone!

I'm Heatchi/Kitten (I'M KNOWN BY BOTH), and I used to play here with this girl for like two seconds. Her name is Yuuki ~~Kuran~~ Kurosu! And while she doesn't know it, she's actually Juri Kuran's daughter. Unlike her, though, she's human ~~atm~~.

What to say about her... she's twelve years old, kind of hates being out alone on her own and her death involved getting eaten by a vampire.... SO FEELINGS. She was lost to the jungle but ultimately catched, and so now is back!

I'm looking forward to playing with everyone again.

❧ FREEDOM FROM TYRANNY!! Actually we're just trading out a tyrant for a Big Brother. Basically, the pacing of Thusia is always changing, and it's evident by the AC policy having to be adjusted all the time that having a specific comment count limit isn't flexible enough, SO we'll just be getting rid of comment count ACs all together 8D. Instead, mods will be keeping an eye on tag usage and checking to make sure characters are threading at least once a month. There won't be specific monthly AC turn-ins anymore! But if it seems like a character isn't getting out at all when we check posts or tags we'll likely give the player in question a tap to see what's up.

There will be an Event on July 20-21st. Another exploradora! (And I'm not running it on my own this time.) It will be to set up weather monitoring stations for Albinia. A mingle will go up at 4:00 PM EST with a start time at 5:00 on that Saturday. There will be sign up and random groups for three different paths.

Hello, Thusia! As you may have noticed, something odd is happening! This is some minor prep for the Mushi Event scheduled for Saturday night-- perhaps around 5 p.m. EST but don't quote me on that because that's my beach day(LATER SUCKERSSS)!

For those of you who have never interacted with Mushi in a game or don't know what mushi are, this event essentially works like an effects event. So things like deafness, blindness, etc can all happen depending on the type of mushi you encounter or wish to encounter! Mushi are living things with, usually, a very specific way to get rid of them, so traditional means probably won't work! A list of possible effects/mushi species will be linked in the kickoff post on Saturday for you to choose from. OR you could ping me(Karri) or Link(maybe? I don't know. I didn't ask. SORRY LINK I'M VOLUNTEERING U) in chan or on plurk if you want a random effect!

The projected length for this event will be approximately 2-3 OOC days but if interest is high it can be extended a bit.

Speaking of interest! There will be one or two mushi species that will not be on the list due to their much more harmful nature, but I will be running a special few threads for those who may be interested in possible(admittedly minor) mutilation. It's in italics so you know it's good!! Anyone squicked by losing body parts need not apply :U

HELLO FRIENDS GUESS WHAT. It's Activity Check time!

Here are the AC rules:

EITHER 40 comments per character in one month. These may be spread out across a maximum of 4 threads in a minimum of 2 different posts.

OR 1 player-run post plus 1 thread of any size in a different post. Any post not locked to specific characters is acceptable, and co-run posts are acceptable as long as all co-runners participate substantially. There is no comment minimum needed for this option.

On the first of each month an Activity Check post will go up. All players must respond to the AC post, even if they only have a new character and don't need to meet activity minimums.
AC should be met by all characters who have been around for more than a month. You do not need to meet AC the month you were accepted.
Everyone has three (3) days to submit their AC. Activity submitted must be from the month before. That would be June this time!
Everyone is allowed one (1) Pass, which will allow one (1) character to skip a full AC. However you must still link at least one thread (length doesn't matter) for that character in order to pass.
You cannot Pass on the same character two ACs in a row. (There is an exception for Bonus Passes)
Anyone who fails to respond or does not meet AC will be placed on an AC Reminder list. Anyone on this list must respond saying they will meet their AC, or they are dropping. Anyone who doesn't will be idled after four days.
Anyone on the AC Reminder list wishing to remain in the game has until 8pm CST on the 8th of the month to make up their missing AC. Note that this activity only applies to the previous month, and can't be used on next month's AC!

If I KNOW I failed activity, what happens? You may use the first week of June to make up whatever activity you are missing. After three days an AC Reminder list will go up with the names of anyone failing activity, and four days from that anyone on that list who hasn't made up activity will be removed from the game. Note that while you can use the entire week to make up missing activity, any activity you use to count toward last month you will not be able to use on the next AC. So falling behind one month basically means you will have to work harder the next.

I've idled out, can I reapp? Yes, resubmit your earlier app and fill out the 'previous game info' section with a bit of information on their time in Thusia. We don't sweat idle/reapps much as long as they aren't a recurring problem, so you shouldn't either!

❧ So, Good-End visits! These will be over a period of 2-3 IC days, which is about a week and a bit more OOCly depending how quickly the days move! Gods and other charas are of course free to still schedule/toss up events or themed-mingles during the time when we have visitors!

❧ There is also an Exploration Event Poll for something being run by some of our players--Albi, Ed, and Izumi! Right now their aim is mostly to get a good idea of when they should run it, but the idea is to send people out to different environments on the map. What will they encounter :3a?

❧ ALSO, Karri is aiming to do a Mushi Event approximately around the weekend of the 12th! Times may change depending on availability, but the event will mostly revolve around status effects so most people should be able to participate easily. More details shall come as they are worked out.

❧ Finally, AC GOES UP TOMORROW! You get a week to turn in AC as always, or you can opt to Pass on one character (by providing one thread of any length) if you did not pass on them last month. Those who have bonus passes left can still use them as well (check the last AC post for how they work).

HI. It's Rae. I used to play a few people here but most of you probably remember me as the Wander player (then Gary Smith then Andrew Detmer then Chris Shepard...) I told you all when I said I'd probably be back I meant it! Anyway I'm bringing the Player Character from the noble origins story in Dragon Age: Origins. ❦ Thusia Test Drive ❦

❧ Congratulations! Your character has died.

❧ They may or may not have had a choice about being resurrected in Thusia. Those who did have a choice will recall a voice asking them if they'd be OK with being brought to such a place, and may have a vague understanding of what they're meant to do here (rebuilding the world).

❧ If they can't remember their actual death, they will still have the overwhelming and very certain sense that they did die, somehow.

❧ They aren't physically dead in Thusia. They are all completely and 100% alive again. All wounds caused at the time of their death have been completely healed, and their clothes will also be repaired.

❧ They will arrive surrounded by various god shrines and immediately near large windows, which give a wide view of the surrounding early-spring fields, and foothills that the HQ is perched upon. The shrine area is visited regularly by other residents, so your character won't be alone for long.

❧ They only have the clothes on their backs and two items of some sort. These items may be just about anything small enough to carry on one's person, including weapons. They must be items that the character would have had with them at their time of death.

The game accepts AUs, OCs, duplicates, and characters from previous roleplays as well as standard canon.

You may play any character in the test drive, regardless of if they are actually appable or not! If you choose to join the game, you may use threads from the test drive for you application sample. You may also carry over threads from the test drive (if they happen with characters actually in the game) to avoid having to thread out the exact same thing twice.

So I will be out of town for a full week starting approximately... now, to go see family and watch my little bro get hitched. As I'm at the mercy of my parents' (less detailed than my own) trip planning, I honestly have no idea if I'll have internet at all for the week, and doubt I'll have huge amounts of time anyway.
