Thusia Game-wide Community Discussion

Sup Thusia! Let's talk about Thusia.

The game's been a bit slow lately and while I know a heavy part of that's due to the September back-to-classes crunch and other RL gremlins punching people in the face, it seems like we could use a talk about what we can do to restart/boost interest for everyone, as well as talk about any other gamestuff we might like to bring up/have bee thinking of bringing up for a while, no matter how big or small.

COMMUNITY TALK, LET'S GO

((I'm gonna make a couple of top level comments for specific stuff so stand by!!1)) DONE, FIRE AWAY

+1, especially the way the threads were run for the Yukari event because it actually felt like we were all together.

Rather then it being that someone is drowning in the same room you are in but you have no idea because it's in a completely different comment thread that you've not had a chance to comment to yet. You get a lot of cr through it and great memories.

Yah, I think having a GENERAL PLANNED PATHWAY, with a character motivation and goal to get everybody going - which was then carried through with the "runners" - made that super successful. I think if we have that kind of general mentality of an event runner + attendees, that flows a lot better than the patterns that have sorta set themselves up that everyone follows without thinking now - the single comments to mingles and explores for example. Even a small adjustment could turn those into more regular streamlined events =|a

And gaw yes I know that feel. "Whoa that's really a dramatic thing happening should I comment? Is that ok to jump? Is it too late it seems too late?? w-whups"

Agreed. I think it'd help get more people commenting too? The runners can have a 'choose your own adventure' style set up, where they have an general idea of where it's going and have different situations they can throw out depending on how the characters go.

This might make events a little harder to just do out of nowhere but I think ultimately you'd get a lot more cross-canon CR and adventure~!

Yes =|a and even if they are hard to do out of nowhere, I think a lotta people have a good amount of practice in general event shenanigans, but a smooth well-oiled framework for Thusia hasn't quite been developed. So whenever EVERYTHING ALIGNS it's grate, but there's no established Habit for I Have An Idea For A Character Event Let's Do This Everyone's Invited!

That said, I don't think there really has to be for it to start kicking in, if people start going for it =|a I mean we can probably abuse Nishi into doing more events because she enjoys hurting other people, but I'm sure others would like the chance to hurt other people too. OR JUST GUIDE THEM ON AN EXCITING ADVENTURE

[Dusty/Elliot here just don't want to change journals]

Nishi is very good at it too.

But I do agree, some light hearted general 'help the whole thusian populace' would be nice, or more interaction with these events with the other gods.

Yesss I definitely agree with the gods being around more too. I've been stalking every thread they have.
