❧ Day 106
• All Day: Deja Vu.
Kessex finally shows his face. Characters find themselves either lead to an item that holds one of the memories they've lost (or the person who found it first), or they find themselves reliving a memory while Kessex watches.

• Late Afternoon: Slime-wrestling with Ur'ghaste

• At Some Point: Coren drains Kessex and memories return to normal.

❧ Day 107
• Early Evening: Coren brings more news.
Coren explains Kessex's arrival and the presence of Kessex's shrine. He also brings some news about the Matriarch, an epically large bird which the lizagons use for transporting their packs long distances. It will take a week or so at most to arrive and bring another army of lizagons with it.

❧ Day 108
• Morning: Lizagon negotiations and eggs
Sparkles offers the dome lizagons the 1st Level and gets their permission to move the HQ without retaliation. Some abandoned eggs are also adopted by various parties...

• Sunset: Yukari calls a townhall meeting. Well, she steals people's stuff to make them go to it...

Preferences for new HQ location: Chrysos asks for ideas about the advantages and disadvantages of the known locations so far, which are mountains, deserts, islands, and plains.
Navigation system: Jane informs everyone that access to the navigation controls will be restored once power is back to 20% in the engine cores.
Lizagon agreement: Talking about what the terms are for Thusians and lizagons living together, and antics about using them as mounts.
About fixing the HQ: Levels 5, 2, and 1 have breaches. Toph offers to fix them if material can be found and describes some of the HQ stone's special properties.

• All Day: Selyir's Princess Escort Mission
In order to make sure people lost in the jungle are still able to get back to the HQ, residents have decided to set up a portal in the ruins of the other building.

• The potion Veseiy made to cure the nature poison went bad back around day 87ish and those who didn't drink from the fountain or arrived later are still susceptible.

ACTIVITY
❧ The Strike List is currently up.

❧ Starting with January we are making a slight change to what we accept for AC. I will just quote the only change to the Rules:

Activity requirements are:
EITHER 60 comments by your character in one month. These may be spread out across a maximum of 6 threads in a minimum of 2 different posts.
OR 1 player run post and 1 thread of any size in a different post. Any post not locked to specific players is acceptable, and co-run posts are acceptable as long as all co-runners participate substantially.

So! If you are happy with the 60 comment thing, you can absolutely still just do that. But we are providing another option, to hopefully encourage more people posting to the comm.

There are a few ground rules to this: Open Mingles that you aren't running do not count. However, any other post that isn't locked only to certain charas is fair game as long as you make an honest effort to run it and reply to people that tag in, even if that's only a few people. This includes co-running posts! Mods won't police them to make sure you replied to every single person, or check that your threads were replied to for days on end, or anything like that. As long as you didn't just toss up the post and then completely ignore it, it will count.

We encourage people to have a hook in the posts, to make them interesting for others to jump, such as characters engaging with the world in some way or inviting others to speak to them! Posts such as "Joe is walking around" still count if they fit the criteria listed in the last paragraph, but something more engaging will make for a more successful post.


GODS
❧ Alain and Kalidas have both been dropped! Kalidas' shrine is dying embers and no attempts to burn anything in it will yield a response, and Alain's shrine is gone all together.


MORE COOL GAME STUFF
❧ Because of increasing interest, we are looking into making it possible for people to app Thusian OCs, if they so desire! Right now we are still working the kinks out of it, and god players can expect to see a post after next week with some suggestions and questions, to make sure we do this in a way that works with, and not against, established game canon. Most likely we will announce exactly how this will work in the week after the gods post.

❧ With the lizagon event wrapping up next weekend, we have been thinking of some mostly non-plotty or terribly eventy things we want to work on getting done next! These are mostly things that are meant to be regular happenings but become irregular when the game is distracted by other matters. On the list: Unconscious Games, Dream Posts, temporary return of drafted characters (for those who wish to play with it), and a Test Drive Meme. We are definitely not going to shove these all into the month of January, but will work at spacing things out for the next couple of months! We just wanted to make sure everyone knows that while HQ plotty things are likely to be a somewhat constant aspect of the game, we'll be at a low tide for a little while and work on fitting in those Other Things.

Also if we have left something off this list that you would like the mods to work in, let us know! And don't worry, there should also be plenty of space for god players to run whatever they may be interested in, and are encouraged to grab space on the calendar at any time! We don't yet have any dates set so would be happy to work around other people's plans if they have them.
