Discussion Follow-up!

First off, we’d like to thank everyone who participated in both the discussion chat in IRC as well as the discussion post! We got a lot of feedback and even more ideas. So:

Thank you for your contributions!

Obviously we would not have all these talks without the intent to work on what was brought up, so these are some of the things we will be tackling from this side in the immediate future.

• Adjusting how new official elements are intro'd: making them more interactive when possible.
  
• Encouraging people to run more events in various ways: establishing that the world is flexible, calling for event runners, building a space for better ooc contact among players, putting up game-wide plotting posts every so often.
  
• Creating more CR opportunities: events with pre-sign-ups and pairings, encouraging people to run news posts ICly. This is more just trying all kinds of stuff to see what sticks, so the two listed are just the concrete things we'll be starting off with.
  
• Establishing IRC as the official venue for OOC communication while making sure important things that happen on IRC are still accessible to people who don't use it. Decisions that will affect the whole game will always be communicated to the community officially in announcements and so on.
  
• Having informal and official chats at regular intervals.
  
• Moving Event Summaries to thusia_happenings, which will be mostly hidden from the network to reduce clutter. The more informal chat logs will also be posted here (ones with Important Info will still go on the OOC comm for further discussion). Feel free to refer to this comm often to catch up on what's been happening and even look for things that were intro'd that you can play with yourselves later.
  
• Getting navigation up to date, slowly continue updating info on all the info pages.
  
• Introducing some mystery.

Keep in mind that this is the short list, and that there are still other things we want to work on down the line. It's a work in progress and changes may not always come quickly in all areas. We also always encourage players to keep contributing and working on the things you want to see more of in the game. An engaged player-base always makes a difference!

Finally, God-players! We obviously still have some things to talk about! Ceesoo will be sending out an email to all god players to set up a time for a chat. Once a date is decided, anyone else who is interested will also be invited to attend. Of course, don't worry too much if the time that's picked is one you won't be able to make, a summary and log will be posted for people to continue contributing afterwards.
