Yeah, I think prior to discussion with everyone the mod side was also sensing disinterest so the AC thing was probably not meant to do harm so much as be like, here's an out for people no longer interested, here's a goal for people still interested. (A goal that was meant to be easy to meet, but obviously when you're told you have to do something it's different from feeling encouraged to do something).

I'd personally be for doing something besides a god AC, but since I've been (a-am still) mired in school stuff, I haven't been around for input, which is my bad AND our bad for not having a better structure for a least keeping on top of supporting active mods with help and feedback on policy changes even if someone has to hiatus.

AS FOR WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT NOW, er.. it'd be best to assume it's in place, going forward, until mods have a chance of talking about it all together, but I am keeping in mind it's not an attractive addition to our rules.
