Summary
OKAY, ACTUAL SUMMARY OF LOST: THUSIA EDITION.
People found a control station for the Dam in the Marshes. Inside, several different things happened.
The Dam Group
They found an operational Hydro-Electrical Generator that only needs some repairs to be operational.
There is a pathway made directly to this in the front of the dam near the river made by Edward and Toph. It does involve climbing down to the floor, but easily accessible.
Chrys found laminated manual that is full of all sorts of information about Hydro Electric Dams, such as how they work, and how things should go together to get power.
A walkman like device with a TV screen and some discs were found. This is currently in Juri’s possession.
Also keep in mind the Dam is mostly in rubble and the area where the generator survived is pretty much there by luck of debris supporting each other. Relevant descriptions of the area.
Control Group
Found a memorial room full of pictures of pictures of the dead. (As a note for anyone who watches the discs, the pilot and some of the festival people can be found in the memorial group, albeit aged some years.)
Evidence that people were staying there for a while.
Six pairs of long distance radios. Each pair can talk to each other and they’re in working condition, just need batteries with juice.
They also shut down the security of the control station so now people can go in and out without security being a problem, like attacking people, or electrifying a lot of the water.
They also drained a fair amount of water, so water levels are LESS than what they were, but with the holes, water will get back in.
There are also letters to be found here and Mao currently has a journal full of them. There’s also a few to be found in the Dam area. All of them follow the thread of being a diary entry and/or notes of improvement for the facility. Some being addressed to a god isn’t all that rare and there seem to be a few dedicated followers of Tare in this group as well as a Jounrer of Albinia’s.
Storage Group
They found replacement parts!
There’s a bunch of wires. A lot is rusted and unusable, but hey, it’s rusted metal and some wire IS still useable, including wire to repair the Generator.
There is a tool room that got mostly submerged, so most everything is actually rusted to unusable, but Zelgadis collected a number of plastic and rust resistant tools.
They also found replacement parts for the rotors and wicket gates of a generator and some other metal paneling type parts in here. A bunch is rusted, but some are useable.
There’s also a bunch of still operational tech and metal in that place, as well as a water tight, hard rigid plastic in the walls. People can scavenge to their heart’s content, just watch out for the Marsh Sharks.
